Lit-Control pH Balance is a food for special medical purposes to support the dietary management of kidney stones.

Kidney stones form when certain substances in the urine are present in such high concentrations that crystals can form and grow further. One of the most common forms is calcium oxalate stones.

Lit-Control pH Balance was specifically developed for situations where influencing urinary pH is not the primary focus. The product is particularly suitable for urinary pH values in the normal range of approximately 5.5 to 6.2.

The formulation addresses various factors in crystal formation and combines phytate from rice bran, magnesium, polyphenols from grape seeds, zinc, and vitamin A.

How does Lit-Control pH Balance work?

Lit-Control pH Balance combines five different ingredients that complement each other in the dietary management of kidney stones.

Phytate, magnesium, polyphenols, zinc, and vitamin A address different factors that can play a role in the formation and growth of crystals in the urine.

The composition is designed to inhibit crystal formation and further crystal growth, while also protecting the tissues of the urinary system.

Phytate from rice bran

Phytates are salts of phytic acid and occur naturally in various plant foods.

Lit-Control pH Balance contains rice bran extract from Oryza sativa with 85% calcium-magnesium phytate or phytin.

Phytate can inhibit the formation of calcium crystals and is therefore a central component of the special composition of Lit-Control pH Balance.

Through interaction with calcium, phytate can influence processes important for the formation and growth of calcium-containing crystals.

Magnesium and oxalate

Magnesium is another important component of the formulation.

In urine, magnesium can form soluble complexes with excess oxalate, thus making less oxalate available for binding with calcium.

Unlike poorly soluble calcium oxalate, magnesium-oxalate complexes remain more soluble and therefore do not contribute in the same way to the formation of calcium oxalate stones.

Lit-Control pH Balance contains magnesium oxide from seawater.

Polyphenols from grape seeds

Lit-Control pH Balance contains grape seed extract from Vitis vinifera with a standardized content of 95% polyphenols.

Polyphenols are natural plant compounds with antioxidant properties. They act as free radical scavengers and help protect tissues from oxidative stress.

Within the special formulation of Lit-Control pH Balance, polyphenols primarily serve to protect kidney and urinary tract tissues from oxidative stress.

Zinc

Lit-Control pH Balance contains zinc in the form of zinc gluconate.

Zinc complements the action of phytate. It supports the binding of phytate to calcium and can thereby help reduce the conditions for the formation of calcium crystals.

Vitamin A

Recommended dosage

It is recommended to take one capsule twice daily.

Take one capsule in the morning with breakfast and one capsule in the evening with dinner, with a glass of water.
