Bepanthen® Plus Spray

For the initial treatment of superficial wounds with a risk of infection.

Bepanthen® Plus Spray effectively protects small wounds such as abrasions, cuts, scratches, or tears from infection and simultaneously supports natural wound healing.

The spray combines the disinfectant active ingredient chlorhexidine with the healing-promoting active ingredient dexpanthenol.

Application

Spray Bepanthen® Plus Spray onto the cleaned wound or inflamed skin area as needed, once or several times daily.

Before the first use, the spray head should be pressed several times until the solution is dispensed evenly.

The duration of use depends on the type and course of the injury and is usually about 1 to 2 weeks.

Application to large areas of skin should be avoided.

Avoid contact with eyes, ears, and mucous membranes.

Due to its dosage form, Bepanthen® Plus Spray should not be used on infants.

If the wound condition does not improve or worsens, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Ingredients

Active ingredients:
1 ml spray contains:

• 50 mg dexpanthenol (5%)
• Chlorhexidine digluconate solution 20%, corresponding to 5 mg chlorhexidine digluconate (0.5%)

Other ingredients:
DL-Pantolactone, macrogol lauryl ether, ethanol, purified water.

Side Effects

Like all medicines, this medicine can also have side effects, although not everyone gets them.

Occasionally, the following may occur:

• Skin irritations
• Burning or redness at the application site
• Itching
• Contact allergic reactions

In rare cases, allergic reactions to chlorhexidine may occur.
